Terms of Use
Last updated: September 22, 2026
These terms explain how you can use UsageBeacon, its website, and its update service.
Free and open source
UsageBeacon is free and open source under the MIT License. The license explains your rights to use, copy, modify, and distribute the software and the notices you must keep.
No warranty
UsageBeacon is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. The MIT License sets out the warranty disclaimer and limitations of liability. Usage information depends on the connected providers and may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable.
Provider connections
Connections to Cursor, Claude, Codex, and custom REST endpoints are governed by those providers’ own terms. You are responsible for complying with those terms and for using connections you are authorized to access.
Update service
The Sparkle update feed is hosted on GitHub Pages to deliver app updates. Do not abuse or scrape the feed, overload it with requests, or interfere with normal access.
Optional support
The “Buy me a coffee” link is an optional tip through a third-party service. A tip is not required to use UsageBeacon. That service’s own terms and privacy policy apply.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change. The date above identifies the latest update, and this page’s Git history provides the change record.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel.
